About Me

Hello, I am a second year Masters student in Robotics Institute at the School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University. I am currently working at Robot Perceiving and Doing (RPAD) lab advised by Prof. David Held as a graduate research assistant. I am interested in 3D Vision, Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning algorithms and currently working on deformable object manipulation.

In 2020, I was remotely working with Prof. Jack Mostow on RoboTutor, an Intelligent Tutoring System building a disengagement predictor using facial cues. I was also a Research Assistant at MIDAS, IIITD, advised by Dr. Rajiv Ratn Shah, leading the team building a suspect retrieval system for Delhi Police, India.

Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Delhi Technological University, India. In 2019, I got into CMU’s RISS programme and was supported by SN Bose Scholarship. I have worked on multiple projects ranging from multimodal crisis detection system to speech recostruction in silent videos.

I am also a national level swimmer, a trained Kathak dancer and an avid reader.
